Rehabilitation of Cherry Creek and Cherry Creek Trail
Location: Denver, Colorado
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, Stream led the initial visioning exercises to identify regional-scale improvements that will transform over 2 miles of the highly used multi-modal recreation corridor along Cherry Creek with better trails and connectivity to the region, improved vegetation, enhanced habitat, and better channel hydrology.
Stream is currently working to finalize design and construction documents for the first phase of over one mile of creek corridor including channel and trail improvements, (regional and secondary trails), community connections, underpasses, major channel realignment with vegetative/bio stabilization, re-vegetation planting and ecological restoration design.
